About

David

David Jame$ is an artist whose music resonates deeply with those who have faced adversity, triumph, and the powerful human spirit that overcomes it all. Born and raised in Nebraska with mild cerebral palsy, David’s life has been defined by his unwavering resilience. Cerebral palsy limited the range of motion in his left arm and leg, and growing up, he faced bullying and numerous challenges. But instead of letting these obstacles define him, he used them as fuel to push beyond expectations. His music is a reflection of his journey, combining the raw energy of country rap with a message of mental health awareness and vulnerability. David’s passion for music began at a young age, and in 2006, he wrote his first song, “Let Me,” for the Special Olympics. He took the stage for the first time that year in front of ten thousand people at the Special Olympics USA National Games, sharing his story with a powerful performance. That moment was just the beginning. David’s second single, “Let Me Anthem,” was performed at the closing ceremonies of the 2nd Special Olympics USA National Games, before a crowd of seventeen thousand people.
