About

David

Jordan Olympus is a singer-songwriter crafting a distinctive sound he calls Island Pop, a hybrid pop style shaped by afro influences and tropical rhythms, inspired by island cultures from the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean. His music blends sensual melodies with rhythmic energy, resulting in tracks that are groove-driven and performance-focused. A self-taught artist, Jordan developed his songwriting and production independently before refining his artistic vision through formal artistic training in Paris. In 2022, he received a distinction from the Académie des Arts, Sciences et Lettres, followed by a national-level live performance as a guest artist at the Mister France finals. After releasing his debut EP The Ascension, Jordan entered a more assertive creative chapter with recent singles such as Outlander and Paradise, embracing afro-insular influences within a contemporary pop framework. This new phase leads into his upcoming EP Islander, a project conceived with the stage in mind and developed as a continuation of his current artistic direction.
