Reaching into the depths of progressive and alternative rock, The Burningtree has raw drive and dark soul in their catchy and upbeat songwriting. Comprised of brothers Daniel and Ricky Elston and close friend Noah Ouellette they’ve been working tirelessly in the four years they’ve been together to build their own sound, following, and friends in the Ottawa music scene. They released their debut album “Antique” in January 2025 which was recorded, produced, mixed, and designed independently by the band. They followed this with a tour of Ontario, and soon will retreat back into the studio for round II. They bring an intensity and energy to the stage and experimentation and excitement into writing and recording their songs. They are often remarked to have a very unique and distinct sound. With punchy guitars, psychedelic bass and an octopus for a drummer; The Burningtree comes at you with full force and dares you to try and keep up.
