Damien Alblas is a Canadian theatrical indie-alt-rock artist from the Kootenay Boundary region of British Columbia. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and Pink Floyd, Alblas crafts original songs that blend folk elements with the dynamic energy of mid-to-late ’70s rock & roll, all while incorporating an ’80s level of showmanship. When he’s not busy working for BC Wildfire, Alblas dedicates his time to performing, bringing his anthemic guitar solos and introspective songwriting to venues and festivals across Canada. Over the past decade, he has performed extensively, captivating audiences with his unique sound. Currently, Alblas is recording his debut album, with Juno award winning producer Roger Swan, with plans for release in 2026.
