Chris George is a Montreal-based singer/songwriter with a deep passion for soul and rock music. He has a powerful presence in his hometown scene, playing shows in well known places such as Petit Campus, l’Escogriffe, Quai des Brumes and Casa Del Popolo. His debut single, “Wedding Night Stand received nods from Montreal giants The Damn Truth, setting a clear example of his sharp musical vision. Chris George is backed by a 5-piece band that delivers a truly organic sound. Their live shows invite their audience into a realm of rootsy guitars, groovy rhythms and heavenly organ and keyboard passages. He will be releasing an album this year entitled “Golden,” which explores themes of love, lust, heartbreak and self-determination.
