Dandelion Highway is a modern folk trio blending Irish and Canadian singer-songwriter traditions with rich harmonies and heartfelt storytelling. Formed in 2023 by Kayleigh McGavock and Chris Sytnyk, and joined by drummer Robin Mason in 2024, the band has quickly gained attention with performances at NXNE, Mariposa Folk Festival’s Emerging Artist Showcase, Departure Fest, and a national appearance on CMCTV Talent. Their sound is intimate, cinematic, and rooted in the poetry of everyday life. About their new single : Inspired by a documentary about two artists, Christopher and Mary Pratt, who chose an unconventional life to protect their creativity, “Either Way” explores the emotional terrain of the artistic journey. Written over 18 months, the song blends personal reflections from all three band members and speaks to the idea that the true success of art lies in the act of making it.
