Brigitte “Serious Voice” James is a Billboard-charting Christian rapper, singer and content creator who is based in New York City. She has garnered multiple Awards in the Female Rap categories and won a Kindred Award for best dance song of 2023 for her collaboration with Latoya J called Woman First, and won a Divine Connection award for Female Rapper of the year in 2022. SV, as she’s affectionately known, was the first female rapper to be featured on National Radio Show Sway In the Morning (SIRIUS XM) and secured a music placement on Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have it show for Netflix. Serious Voice is also a mentor to youths across the country, particularly New York City and Buffalo.
