About

Britney

ARMOURY (formerly Britney Davis) is a Toronto-born singer-songwriter blending soulful emotion with modern R&B and pop. Raised by a DJ father, she grew up immersed in a wide range of influences, from Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, and Amy Winehouse to Michael Jackson, Destiny’s Child, and dancehall acts like Aidonia, shaping her warm tone, honest storytelling, and balance of strength and softness. She first gained national recognition after winning CBC Toronto’s Song in the 6ix competition with her anthem From The 6ix, earning over 40,000 public votes and a $10,000 grand prize. Since then, ARMOURY has performed across Canada at major venues and festivals and has opened for Caribbean icons including Mr. Vegas, Destra, Sanchez, Farmer Nappy, and Dexta Dapps. Her music has been featured on CBC Radio, CHUM, G98.7 FM, and national television platforms. In 2022, she was nominated for Best New Artist at the HRDRV Awards in California. In 2024, her song Smoke Me Like a Cigarette was featured on The Chi (STARZ/Paramount). After overcoming a life-threatening autoimmune illness, ARMOURY rebuilt her voice and vision. Her latest single MOON marks a confident new era, with a deeply personal EP arriving in 2026.
