Over his 20+ year career, Ali Shafaee has produced large-scale festivals across Canada, the United States and Mexico in all genres including Latin, Urban, Dance and Country. He has led festival teams from inception to talent booking and through production. Ali was honored in 2019 with a Forty Under 40 Award and received an Ottawa Tourism Award for Escapade Music Festival, which is celebrating its 16-year anniversary in 2026. In 2023, Ali became the Regional Vice President at Live Nation and head of its Ottawa office. His passion for live events and music has fuelled him to continue to be a leader and innovator in the space and, in his new role, will be overseeing multiple Live Nation festivals across Ontario as well as the growth and of live music in the nation’s capital, with projects like the upcoming HISTORY Ottawa.
