Alex Freedman has more than thirty years in Canadian broadcasting. He began his career as an investigative reporter and senior producer at the CBC. Later he would transition to Chief of Staff at Laurentian University and later at the Assembly of First Nations . Today he is Executive Director at the Community Radio Fund of Canada where he advocates for and provides funding for more than 255 community, Indigenous, and campus radio stations. He is also completing a Masters in Political Communication at the University of Ottawa specializing in AI regulation.
