BOYSBOYS is the post punk project of Golden Horseshoe songwriter Aidan Collins. Born out of a one off set opening for Dumb Crush and quickly mutating into his primary creative outlet outside of his work with Cam Kahin (Dine Alone records). Collins writes, records, and produces everything himself, carving out tense, volatile songs that refuse to be polished or softened. “I make this because I need to. These songs are here to give people confidence and remind them that real human music is important,” he says – a fitting thesis for a project built on grit, vulnerability, and chaos. Live, BOYSBOYS becomes a full band detonation: heavy, unpredictable, and confrontational. Shows are explicitly zero-tolerance zones for racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, Zionism or any form of prejudice. Anyone who wants to feel something – kids discovering music, old heads living in the past, people who just want to move-gets the front row. Since debuting in 2025, BOYSBOYS has built a reputation across Southern Ontario for chaotic, high-voltage sets and emotionally raw songwriting.
