What forms of payment are accepted?
Departure is a reimagination of Canadian Music Week. Our audiences have grown alongside CMW for the past 42 years and have been integral to our success. By expanding our offerings, while staying true to our roots in music, Departure will create an inclusive and vibrant environment that will also attract international artists and creatives of the younger generation, allowing for a deeper, more diverse conversation and a better representation of the cultural hub that is Toronto. Departure honours where we’ve come from, and celebrates where we are going.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept a variety of secure payment methods for ticket purchases, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We also have flexible payment options including Buy Now, Pay Later (where available at checkout).
All payments are processed through our trusted third-party provider via the online registration system.
Can I purchase a pass onsite, or is advance registration required?
Yes, onsite passes will be available for purchase; however, we strongly recommend registering in advance for the best pricing and to secure your spot as some events have limited availability.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Our policy is outlined in our Terms:
- Full Event Cancellation (by Departure)
If the entire event is cancelled by Departure, ticketholders will receive a voucher/credit equal to the original purchase amount, usable toward a future Departure event.- No cash refunds will be issued.

What should I do if I lose my ticket or confirmation email?
If you lose your ticket, first try searching your inbox and spam folders for “Departure”; if you still can’t locate it, simply email hello@departureto.com with your full name, registration email, and approximate purchase date so our team can resend it, or alternatively, just bring a photo ID to the onsite Registration Desk for a manual lookup.
