Sarah McLachlan is one of the most celebrated singer songwriters in entertainment with over 40 million albums sold worldwide. She has received three Grammy Awards and twelve Juno Awards over her career and has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.
Sarah is the founder of her not-for-profit Sarah McLachlan School of Music, which provides high quality music education and mentorship at no cost to at-risk and underserved children and youth facing various barriers to access.
Last September, Sarah released two notable projects; the feature documentary Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery, which tells the untold story of the groundbreaking music festival she started in the late 1990s and her tenth studio album Better Broken. The album is a soul-searching reflection on the fortitude that comes from weathering life’s constant storms with a selection of songs that speak an uncompromising but radically illuminating truth about the state of the human condition.
