The 2020 Baje to the World winner has worked along-side
2 Mile Hill, Edwin Yearwood, Phillip 7, Arturo Tappin and the
Nicholas Brancker Band to name a few and was also
featured in the Honey Jam 2019 edition. Her work has
allowed her to soar to the shores of Trinidad and Saint Lucia
and even further out to Cairo Egypt. The artist connects
with music way beyond her years and prefers to mellow out
on a lovely ballad, however with the limitless nature of
music she is not opposed to exploring new possibilities.
Ultimately, Casheda is wholly invested in cultivating a feel
good experience that transcends space and time.
With the support and collaborative eorts of the Barbados
National Cultural Foundation, this auditory experience was
crafted. It delves into topics of the daily experience of wanting
more. Yearning for acceptance, yearning to love, yearning to
trust, yearning to understand and be understood and most of
all yearning to be free.
