As General Manager of the Toronto publishing operations for Peermusic Canada, Cheryl Link works in creative and operations for the world’s largest privately held global independent publishing and neighbouring rights company with 39 offices in 33 countries. With well over a million titles owned or administered and 200+ employees worldwide, Peermusic is the largest privately owned music publishing company of its kind in the world. Cheryl Link was recently promoted to General Manager of Peermusic’s Toronto publishing operations, assuming a greater role in client relationships, operations, and continuing to oversee creative and synchronization activity in the region. Having joined Peermusic in 2005, Cheryl previously served as Senior Creative Director at Peermusic Canada, responsible for all domestic songwriters, artists and working to promote the Peermusic worldwide catalogue for synch opportunities to Film, TV and advertising agencies. Cheryl serves on the Board of SOCAN, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and SOCAN Foundation. She is one of the founding committee members of the MPC (Music Publishers Canada) Women in the Studio program, now in its seventh year.
