Maria Alonte is Senior Vice President, Synchronization, HYBE America. She oversees Creative Synch for HYBE globally, including HYBE America, HYBE Latin, HYBE India, YX Labels (Japan), Blue Highway Records, Big Machine Music Publishing, Quality Control and So So Def. Maria has been working in the Synch and Supervision business for 25+ years including heading up synch teams at Universal Music (Republic, Island, Def Jam & Verve), Prescription Music, Red Light Management, Nettwerk Music Group and the original Arista Records. She also oversaw the music department for Hasbro and eOne Film & TV. Maria is currently a Voting member of the Los Angeles chapter of the Recording Academy, the Academy of Country Music (ACM), the Country Music Association (CMA), and a member of the Songwriters of North America (SONA). She was a founding member of Toronto International Film Festival’s Canadian Music Cafe
